The short version

Dewli is made by Chris Brock LLC. Right now the only personal information we hold is the email address you give us if you ask for early access. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from any other company. The Dewli app has not been released yet.

If you want your address removed, email hello@getdewli.com and we will delete it.

Who we are

Chris Brock LLC is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@getdewli.com for any question about this policy, including a request to see or delete what we hold. A postal address is available on request.

This website

The early-access list

If you submit the early-access form, we store three things:

• the email address you typed;
• the date and time you submitted it;
• which page it came from.

That is all. We do not store your name, IP address, browser, or referring page, and we do not attempt to identify you beyond the address itself. We use it for one purpose: to email you when Dewli is available. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

It is kept until you ask us to delete it. There is no automatic expiry.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics — no tracking pixel, no tag manager, no session recording. There is nothing here to opt out of.

Other companies

Pages on this site load nothing from anyone else. Text, images and typefaces are all served from this domain. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, who process requests in order to serve pages and who keep their own operational logs as any host does; the early-access list is stored on Cloudflare's database service. We use no other processor.

The Dewli app

Dewli has not been released. Nothing below is in effect yet, and we will update this page before it is.

Dewli is designed so that your bills stay on your device. Bills you add — the payee, the amount, the due date and any category or schedule — are stored by the app on your phone or tablet. There is no Dewli account, no login, and no copy of your bills on our servers. We cannot see them.

Dewli reads bills from a photo or a PDF. On the free tier this happens entirely on your device. A paid tier is planned in which the text of a bill would be sent to an AI provider to pull out the amount and due date; that path is built but is not switched on, has never processed anybody's bill, and no provider has been chosen. When it is enabled we will name the provider on this page first.

The app does not read your advertising identifier, your location, your contacts or your calendar. It does not include any analytics or crash-reporting service from another company.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop using it.

Email hello@getdewli.com. Because the only thing we hold is an email address, a request from that address is normally all we need. We will not ask you for more information than it takes to find the record.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to complain to a regulator. We do not sell personal information, and we have no advertising or profiling to opt out of.

Children

Dewli is meant for adults managing their own bills. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us an address, email us and we will remove it.

Keeping it safe

The early-access list is held in Cloudflare's database service and is reachable only by us. The website never reads addresses back out — the only thing it can do is add one — so there is no page, link or API on this site that can be used to look up whether an address is on the list.

No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise.

Changes

If we start collecting something new, or bring in another company to process it, we will change this page and update the date at the top before that happens rather than after.
